What
kind of artwork do
you illustrate?
I specialize in fantasy-themed, manga-style artwork. As long as the
subject matter of the commission is in good taste (no sex, nudity,
gore), then I will draw it. Everything is digitally rendered. Inked
and/or colored images are saved at a high resolution so that you can
print them.
How much does it cost?
All of my
prices are on a project by project basis. I do not
charge by the hour for my work. The prices are as follows for a single
subject (portrait or full pose):
Pencil sketches
Base Cost: $10
+$5 for backgrounds
+$5 for each additional character
B&W Ink Drawing
Base Cost $20
+$5 for backgrounds
+$5 for each additional character
Digitally Colored
Base Cost: $30
+$5 for backgrounds
+$5 for each additional character
When I accept a commission, I'll ask for a $10
non-refundable deposit up front. Payments will be processed through
Paypal. For a sketch, that's the full price unless additional
characters or backgrounds are added. For inked/colored art, the rest of
the fee is due when the image is finished and before I deliver it to
you..
How do we get started?
If you've read and agree with the terms above, you
can submit a request to my email. Please be sure to title your email
along the lines of "Commission Request" so I don't confuse it for spam.
Just give me a description of what you want, including links to the
reference images (if any) that you'd like me to see.
After I've accepted the commission and received the
$10 down payment, I'll show you a preview sketch so that you can
approve the drawing and note any changes you'd like me to make.
When your commission is complete and I have the
full payment, I'll send your image to you.
Legal Stuff
While the commission is for you, I reserve the
right as the artist of this piece to reproduce your commissioned image
for the sake of my portfolio, online or otherwise. I will not sell your
work to any other party. Likewise, please ask and obtain
my written consent if you want to publish or distribute it via a
different arrangement.
